Hollywood comes to New York on Thursday, Oct 18th as St Paul alum Fr. Eric Andrews and members of his team from Los Angeles present "An Evening With Paulist Productions" from 7-9 pm in the Parish Center, 405 West 59th Street.
Founded in 1961, Paulist Productions, creates uplifting and in
spirational programs for mainstream audiences. The ministry is known for its long running TV series INSIGHT, the film ROMERO with Raul Julia, and the recent Hallmark Hall of Fame production of THE LOST VALENTINE with Betty White and Jennifer Love Hewitt. Others who have worked with Paulist Productions include Rod Serling, Martin Sheen, Ron Howard, Beau Bridges, and Patty Duke.

Hi! I'm so glad to hear that Insight is making a comeback. I discovered some of your classic TV productions quite late, and actually used some of them (back in the old 16 mm film days!) in the Religion classroom.
ReplyDeleteWhich brings me to the main reason I'm sending this comment. I would love to find a copy of the old Insight episode entitled "Just Before Eve." Martin Sheen starred as Adam, and Flip Wilson as God. To me, if forms one of the best introductions not only to the Book of Genesis, but to a whole host of themes. Does anyone out there know of an existing copy?
